How to Bead Letters Tutorial Series
This is the Intro that I used on the Youtube Tutorial that I have been putting up lately. I hope that it will help you guys in making the letters.
So today I'm gonna show you guys how to work on the beaded letter that I'm turning into a series. A tutorial from A - Z. It is basically a sequence/side by side cubed clusters of 4 as I call it forming the shape of a certain letter. There are going to be 26 tutorials as there are 26 letters in our alphabet.
I would recommend to use or pick up beads that have big holes in them to make the process easier because we're going to pass through the beads several times in order to place the string on the right position acquiring the shape of the letter. It's gonna be tricky and a challenge to do it so please bear with me. I will try my best to show it to you guys so it will be simpler.
The letter I have made as samples are all in capital letters although I'm thinking of making smaller letters after.
The bead I'm using for this project is called "chalk beads", a cheaper of bead that is available her in the Philippines but you have the option of using the acrylic ones. The ones that we used in making our other projects.
Terms we're using is all in English except for the word "salikop" w/c is a tagalog term. It can be translated to "interweave" but saying salikop would be much more convenient for me and I always use it to all my bead tutorials.
I may turn this tutorial series into a tagalog version but it might be after working on all the letters in the alphabet so please do check that out.
The pattern is not my own. I just have a picture to refer to and learned how to make them myself so I'm hoping not to violate any copyright law.
The details about this project will be on the description box below and for more info I'm planning to write them on my blog (which I am doing now). So specific info about the project will be there (here).
Sometimes when it is hard to insert the string because it gets crooked I cut it slanted so it will be easier to pass through. At times the hole gets clogged so you can poke it using a pin and try again inserting the string. Whenever you make the cubes just tighten as you go to make the item sturdy.
The Materials used will be shown in the beginning of each tutorial and they are the following:
Nylon Monoline String 050mm
Chalk beads or Acrylic Rough Beads 6mm
Pair of Scissors
Keyring (if you're making a keychain)
Dimension: (5x4 cluster of 4, for other letters) (5x5 cluster of 4 for bigger letters)
Approximately 2 inches high, 1 3/4 inches across
Suggested String Length: (This is important so please take note of this in order not to waste your string)
For small letters like A, I, C and other use (1 meter + 1 palm length of string)
For bigger letters like M, H, W and the like use (1 meter + half arm length of string)
Uses:
So this project can be made into keychains or zipper pull for bags. It can be turned into a name or word as some type of decor or accent to your house. You can also put a magnet at the back to turn it into a refrigerator magnet. In my own experience I use this letters as some type of learning material to teach my nephew the alphabet or to form words with it.
So I hope you learned something new today. Please do try out my tutorials on Youtube and I hope you enjoy making them as much as I enjoy teaching them to you.
Happy Beading everyone!

Beaded Hello Kitty Wallet Tutorial in Tagalog

The Last Bits of the Character Purse Series
June 7, 2019 Friday
Last month and these past few days has been a productive one for me as I'm on the verge of ending the character purse series I've been pushing to do this past month. I'm now on the process of uploading the 2nd part of the Doraemon-inspired purse. The next thing for me is to make a separate video on how to sew the lining and zipper. A subscriber suggested a smiley and hello kitty character purse so I'm still gonna learn that and maybe put that up next time. For now I wanted to put up first the simple bear beaded project and once I get that down I will be planning other ones. I'm quite apprehensive about the beaded bear as it looks very tricky and complicated to work and show. There might also be some problems on how to work the parts like the arms and legs. But despite of that I'm gonna take it step by step and maybe get there. So that's my update for now. Happy crafting everyone.
Oh! and here are the accumulated pictures of the tutorials thumbnails:

Character Purse Tutorial Series on Youtube
May 17, 2019 Friday
Very happy to announce that so far I have put up four tutorials for the crochet character purse series that I'm pushing to make. I've been in the mood to make them one by one and follow through all of them. There are 10 specific characters on my list and I'm hoping that I can make all of them. I just have this thought of inserting the beaded tutorial for the bear in between them but that is still a thought. I'm happy to share this news to you guys and I also hope you can check and try them out. Happy crafting to all!

Online Yarn Hauls 2019
May 10, 2019 Friday
So eversince I discovered that I can shop online using an online shopping app I've been addicted to it eversince. Below are the yarn that I have recently acquired using the said app. The first one came from China and took 12 days to be delivered and are cotton yarns that are varigated. They are all 50 gram balls and very soft. I started working on a cellphone pouch using one of them and I really liked how it turned out. The second yarn order I placed is from a local seller from Tarlac. Her yarns are just fabulous and awesome. They are gradient yarns with subtle color changes. The yarn is in cotton and are stranded and not plied. I am working on a shawl using one of them and I'm really enjoying it so far. So since I really want to try out the other colorways from the yarn from China I placed a third order picking some of the dyelot that I missed the last time. It came within 9 days and I'm shocked at how fast it is just because the first one came after 12 days. So now I'm gonna figure out a project for the yarns and it's just nice having them on the side as some type of inspiration and something to look forward to.

Trips During Vacation
It's Summer Vacation and it is really hot here in the Philippines. Last week we were able to go to Bataan coming along my siblings family and sister in laws family. We went there during the night and stayed for two more days. The first morning we went to a resort near their house called Jairus resort where there are plenty of pools to choose from. The kids really enjoyed swimming in them transferring from one pool to another. We constantly put sunscreen on them as it is really hot and they may have sunburn. At the back of the resort we discovered a stream and some rocky steps that leads to water and other pools with little water in them. All in all the trip had been refreshing. So I'm gonna put here some pictures that I've taken from there.

First Post 2019
February 18, 2019 Monday
It's been a while since I posted a blog. I was busy. Well, sort of. I've been taking care of my niece and nephews because of ate's new work. Last December I was also working through several orders for beaded and crochet items. Some for my Tito which are keychains and wallets. One of my customers also ordered booties and sandals from me. So I keep filling it up. Just now that I can say I'm through all of those. There is still one order coming up but I'm thinking, hopefully there wouldn't be any for a while. That's why I'm focusing on this one task, which is to do a tutorial for crochet baby booties/sandals. I've been studying it and learning it. Researching as I go of terms I need to be familiar with. I'm on that process where I needed to take notes and make samples. I'm quite apprehensive on this one. Not that confident in working crochet tutorials compared to beaded ones. But I'm still hell bent on pushing it through. Gonna take it one step at a time and hopefully I can go pass it. I just hope there wouldn't be a problem and even if there's going to be one I got to be prepared for it.
This year I have this two tutorials so far:

About Anne
About Anne:
So we have been watching this animation lately on our TV Plus. The title is "Anne of Green Gables". It was derived from the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery. I remember watching this type of animation growing up and one of them is Sara the little princess and Cedie the little prince. That's where I got my nickname that i use online. It caught our attention right from the beginning and we have been so engaged in watching it lately. It is a story about an orphan girl who had lived with other families before. She was sent to meet siblings Marilla and Matthew who lives in Green Gables. At the start they were expecting a boy who will help them with their farm so they were quite in shock to find Anne. In the end they decided to keep Anne. Marilla is given the task to bring her up and teach her things she needed to learn. During her stay with Marilla and Matthew Anne has gotten into different types of mischief like being accused of losing Marillas brooch, putting liniment to the cake she baked, falling from the rooftop because of a dare and others like dyeing her hair green. But as time goes by Anne became a responsible and obedient girl. She has met her bossom friend Diana and they too have some adventures on their own. She also met her best enemy as she says, a boy named Gilbert Blythe. There are also other characters that brought to life the whole story and made Anne shine.
As the story progresses as we watch on tv I was kinda anxious about how the events will turn out. My curiousity got the best of me so I had to watch the next episodes early by way of Youtube. I was happy to find full episodes with a playlist. It's just that the language is in Japanese and I had to read the subtitles. But I didn't mind because I really want to know what happens next. So after passing the entrance exam at Queens Academy Anne went there to study for a whole year. She often goes back to Green Gables at the end of each week but there was a time that the snow is so rough that she wasn't able to go back for about months on. Marilla and Matthew really misses her. All the while Marilla and Matthew has been experiencing some health problems. Matthew with his heart and Marilla with her frequent headaches that is due from her eyes. After the exam and Anne won the Avery scholarship she got to go back to Green Gables and was reunited with her friends and her guardians. I was just devastated when it got to the part where Matthew died. It was really heart wrenching. After his death Anne decided not to go to Redmond and stay with Marilla. She plans to teach at Avonlea which came true because Gilbert decided to give the chance to her.
The last bits when Anne decided to thank Gilbert for what he did is the climax for me. They were able to reconcile after years of being not in so good terms because of old faults and misunderstandings. I was quite glad to think about how they will be after that. I was longing for a sequel that is also in animation but just coudn't find one. I read that Ms Lucy Maud M. made some sequels to the story and there are other shows too that I have seen online but I just expect that there will be a sequel in animation, too.
Reaction to the whole story:
I am hooked from the beginning because of Anne's being so talkative. I love her being so romantic in her speaking and daydreamings. I also like it meld with the character of Marilla which I think is uptight and so strict. It wouldn't work is she has another type of character. I mean I just think that their characters and personalities goes well together to send the message of a girl living in that type of situation. Matthew too added to the whole theme because his meakness that is contrary to Anne brings out the fun side to things. If that is the right interpretation of it. I just think that the three of them in one house and their situation makes the story more interesting and fun to watch. Because if Marilla or Matthew has a different character I think Anne's wouldn't be as effective. And that is why we love her.
The other parts of the story like meeting Diana, her bosom friend adds to the flow of the story. Anne having to long for a real type of friend gives us the idea or the means to be grateful or to cherish someone whom doesn't really comes that often in our lives. It makes me think of friends that I had in the past that has that level that Diana and Anne has. It's like a goal we all have to achieve. To find that soulmate that we can stick to through thick or thin

Legazpi Albay Visit
We went to Albay last saturday for the wake and cremation of one of our dear relatives Manoy Narding. He has been a part of our family since I was young. I remember him working on our house then and he has been a mason for a while. I know him as a kind-hearted person and very hardworking to provide for his family. I remember making coffee for him for when he was here. The last time I did that for him he said that I finally got the blend right cause he didn't want it sweet as I usually make for him. I don't know if I remembered correctly but I thought he mentioned that he wants to be cremated when he dies. Kuya Jun doesn't think so and insists that Manoy prefers to be buried with his body whole. Those where the times that I remember Manoy. I didn't realize that was the last time I'll see him alive.
So since he dies in Legazpi, his home town they had the wake there. Tito got cremated last Sunday and his remains was tranferred here in Manila for the viewing of near relatives. Mama is there to assist with the wake. Ate Margie, his eldest daughter was in charge of the whole thing. I really admire how she handled the whole process of Manoy's death and funeral.
It took as around 12 hours to get to Albay. Kuya Elmer, one of our relative there who knew about our travel had booked a hotel for us to stay in and rest for a while. After the cremation he also assisted us in going to landmarks of the place. Albay is known for the famous Mayon Volcano, near there is the Cagsawa Ruins where we went after the cremation. I was quite disappointed that my cellphones keeps going low batt so I wasn't able to capture some of the sceneries there. Kuya Elmer also invited us for a lunch out and we were so full after that. He had us follow his car after and was quite anxious to see where we were. He brought us to a high place near the volcano where there is an overseeing, where we can see the whole of the place from a birds eye view. It was marvelous standing there seeing the wholeness of the place. It was raining when we got there but it subsided for a while so we were able to take some pictures. After that we were separated, they went home and we went our way to Manila. By the road we were able to buy some treats as pasalubong. I was able to buy a abaca basket from the ruins, there are plenty of souveneir shops there. I love handicraft products I can use as a display and storage. It was very late when we get to half of our journey so we weren't able to buy fruits that we planned on buying. At Gumaca, we ate on one of the famous eatery there called Lita's. They are famous for fresh seafood dishes. I think we got to Las Pinas at 3am midnight. It was quite a ride. So I'm documenting it now as best as I can so as to record our trip.

Tutorials Adventure by cedie aqui
June 2018 Jampacked ako sa paggawa ng samples at pagshoot ng tutorials na hinanay ko nitong mga nakaraang araw or buwan na nga ata. Oops! English pala dapat.
So I have been accumulating samples and am shooting clips for making beaded items as a tutorial. It has been quite an adventure so far. I can't believe how much energy and time you put into it. Plus all the planning and practice you need to do. Researching on terms and letting yourself know it through and through. My first tutorials are not perfect in the least but it's a learning process that I have found to be a bit fun. I'm excited as to how it all works together. Waiting for the file to upload. Ofcourse since most of us are using internet here in the house I find it more convenient to upload them at night. So in the morning it will be all set up for edit. I'm just glad that our net is back. And crossfingered I wish that I will push through most of them. There's also that fact that I got monetized recently. I find it so exciting it makes me jump out of bed in the early morning. Which I don't have the habit of from this past weeks. I have something to look forward to. And I hope it stays that way for a while.

Beaded Clutch Bags
Beaded Clutch Bags
Produces 4 different beaded pouch bags that are 9x6 inches in measurement recently. They have a new to me feature on them which is putting names and letters on them. I was learning how to do it as I go and has exhausted my strength and will in making them. Just quite happy of how it turned out though. The only problem now is delivering it to the owners. The fourth design of the bags has a heart in it. I decided to use the light pink first but not quite satisfied with it so I started another one using light gray and red for the heart. I doubted how it is coming up so I got back to the pink one and visualized the heart design. I settled in putting red and white hearts for the side parts only and after that I began to like it a bit so I got on with it. After making the bags during this past 10 days I got to making the box to put them in as my Aunt requested. I just used some saved carton from the TV that kuya gave mama and created one.
I met with Tito and Auntie Myrna at my other Tito's wake and gave them these orders. They liked it and it's convenient for me in a way because I wouldn't need to go to their place to deliver them. so here are the said items...

Keychains Overload
KEYCHAINS GALORE
I have been making beaded keychains as an order from my Tito for a while. Since we have the internet back now I think I should show you guys here as soon as I can and write a little about it. The first part of his order I delivered at their place and it consist of 50 pcs. I had enough time then to make him more so he ask for 100 pcs adding to the first batch. In the end I accumulated 180 pcs for him with some excess. This month has been a busy month for him cause baranggay election came up. He works as a President of their baranggay so he wanted to giveaway stuff to his constituents. To his pals and other people within the community. Making the keychains had been an adventure for me. I experimented with more designs so he can have a variety of it. I wanted to make a tutorial about them then but our luck with having the internet back on is so slim. It was taking too long to wait for it to come back. So my ate decided to apply for another internet provider and we recently got it installed. I was happy cause it gives me the liberty to post longer videos and write on my blog again. I am thinking of making tutorials again as soon as I set up all the things I needed. That means I have to make samples of designs. It's good to know that I already had designs in mind from the experience of making Tito's keychains. So without further ado here are the pics of the said items:
