I hit a milestone

 Hi everyone! So I wasn't able to post anything here for a while. I'm sorry about that. This blog is where I post notes about my channel and written patterns you can refer to while working on my beaded and other tutorials on Youtube. Recently I hit a milestone there having 7K subbies and I just want to extend my gratitude to all of you for supporting me throughout the years that i'm making videos. When I first started I just wanted to be a part of the yarn community. I didn't think that I will be making tutorials. Someone suggested for it and from then more came. I hope you enjoyed this journey with me. God bless and Keep safe everyone.

5th row: Starting w/Regular Cube (Total of 2 Cubes)
A. Put 1WB on L, 1PB on R & S w/ PB (Repeat 2x). Then put 1PB on R, 1PB on L & S to OP. Insert to OP.
B. Put 1WB on L, 1PB o R & S w/PB. Then put 1WB on L, 1PB on R & S to OP

Insert both strings to a series of beads to fasten off and then cut string and put the keyring using jump ring and pliers. Now you can use or sell it.

Notes: Since the string is thinner make the fastening off more sturdy or secure by inserting leftover string through more parts of the beaded item. Take time to do it.
My advice also is not to insert through consecutive beads because it will be visible.
Happy Beading Everyone!!!

8th row: Using 1st color of beads. Put 4B on R and S with 1B. Take L insert to 1 adj. B then turn your work. Put 2B on R, 1B on L and S with 1B. Total of 2 Clusters.

9th row: Using 2nd color of choice. Starting with a cluster of 5. Put 3B on R and S with 1B. Take L insert to 2 adj. Bs. Put 2B on R and S with 1B. The last cluster is a cluster of 5. Take L insert to 1 adj. B. S with 3B. Insert 1st string through a series of beads within the made item and do this also for the other string for about 3-4 inches, tighten as you go and then cut both strings. After this just connect the made item to a keyring using pliers and a jump ring.

How to Bead a Heart-Shaped Wallet (Written Pattern)

 How to Bead a Heart-Shaped Wallet

(Written Pattern)

Materials: Nylon Monoline String 050mm, Acrylic Rough Beads or Chalk Beads 6mm., Scissors, Pin & Zippers

Dimension: Approximately

Suggested String Length: 1st Cheek (1 meter +  1/2 an arm length), 2nd Cheek: 2 meters

Symbols:

R = Right string

L = Left String

Adj = Adjacent

B or Bs = Bead or Beads

S = Salikop

This project is composed of two cheeks that will be connected on the side and bottom part.

First we're gonna work on the first cheek so cut a string with a length of 1 meter and half an arm.

Hold your string so that one tip is on your left hand and the other tip is on your right.

Both cheeks have 9 rows to them

1. (1st row) Starting from the right side of the 1st cheek create a cluster of 5 by putting 4 Bs on the R and S or Salikop w 1B.

(Salikop is a tagalog term I frequently use for the project which means you need to insert your R going to the left and your L going to the right in just one bead aligning both ends of the string then sliding that one bead going to the rest of the beads, making sure both ends are of equal length completing the needed cluster)

Then put 2B on the R, 2B on the L & S w/ 1B. Next put 2B on the R, 1B on the L & S w/ 1B (Total of 3 Clusters)

2. (2nd Row) Turn your work. Put 4B on R & S w/ 1B. Insert L to 2 adj. Bs & put 2B on the R & S w/ 1B. Next, insert L to 2 adj. B, put 2B on the R & S w/ 1B. Then insert L to 1 adj. B, turn your work. Put 2B on R & 1B on L & S w/ 1B. (Total of 4 Clusters)

3. (3rd Row) Put 3B on R & S w/ 1B. Insert L to 2 adj. Bs, put 2B on R & S w/ 1B (Repeat 2 more times). Next insert L on 1 adj. B & turn your work. Put 2B on R, 1B on L & S w/ 1B. (Total of 5 Clusters)

4. (4th Row) Put 4B on R then S w/ 1B. Next, insert L on 2 adj. Bs, put 2B on R & S w/ 1B (Repeat 2x). Next, insert L on 2 adj Bs, then turn your work. Put 2B on R & S w/ 1B. (Total of 5 Clusters)

5. (5th Row) Insert L on 1 adj. B. Put 3B on R & S w/ 1B. Next, insert L to 2 adj. Bs. Put 2B on R & S w/ 1B (Repeat 2x). Next, insert L to 1 adj. B. Turn your work. Put 2B on R & S w/ 1B. (Total of 5 Clusters)

6. (6th Row) Insert L on 1 adj. B. Put 3B on R & S w/ 1B. Next, insert L on 2 adj. Bs. Put 2B on R & S w/ 1B. (Repeat 2x). Insert L on 1 adj. B & Turn your work. Put 2B on R, 1B. (Total of 5 clusters)

7. (7th Row) Put 3B on L & S w/ 1B. Insert L on 2 adj. Bs. Put 2B on L & S w/ 1B. (Repeat 2x). Next, insert L on 2 adj. Bs & turn your work. Put 2B on the R & S w/ 1B. (Total of 5 Clusters)

8. (8th Row) Insert L on 1 adj. B, put 3B on R & S w/ 1B. Next, insert L to 2 adj. Bs. Put 2B on R & S w/ 1B (Repeat 1 more time). Next insert L to 2 adj Bs & turn your work. Put 2B on R & S w/ 1B (Total of 4 Clusters)

9. (9th Row) Insert L to 1 adj. B. Put 2B on R & S w/ 1B. Next, insert L to 2 adj. Bs, put 2B on R & S w/ 1B. Insert L to 2  adj. Bs & S w/ 2Bs.

Make another cheek using a string that is 2 meters long.

Insert both strings so that it will go to the spot on the side in between the upper cluster of 5 & cluster of 6 as shown in the diagram:

So now we are ready  to connect both cheeks together. Take the R & insert 1B then connect it to the other cheek in between the upper cluster of 5 and cluster of 6 making sure both cheeks are aligned. Then S w/ 1B. Secure it by taking 1 string and running it along the made cluster of 6 in between the 2 cheeks in order to make it sturdy.

And then connect both cheeks by inserting the lower string to 2 adj. Bs on the 1st cheek and the upper string to 2 adj. Bs and then S with 1B. Continue this until you reach the other side of the wallet in between the upper cluster of 5 and 6.

So for the handle we are just going to salikop with 10Bs. After this to fasten off take the first string and pass it along consecutive beads within the wallet piece for atleast 2-3 inches and do this with the other string and then cut the string.

Now that the wallet is done the only thing left to do is sew in a zipper. Choose one with the closest color to the beads you used. And now it is ready to be used or to sell.

I hope you guys enjoy working on this project as much as I enjoy teaching them to you.

There's a Youtube tutorial for this wallet that I will link below.

How to Bead Hello Kitty Wallet (Written Pattern)

HOW TO BEAD A HELLO KITTY WALLET (Written Pattern)
Disclaimer: This is not my own design. I just studied it to make.

Here's the video tutorial on Youtube for this wallet: It is in 4 parts so just click the next ones.

MATERIALS: Nylon Monoline String 050mm, Acrylic Rough Beads (or Chalk beads) 6mm, (Red for bow, Fushia Pink for borders, White for inner parts, Black for eyes & Orange for nose), Scissors, Pin & Zippers

Suggested String Length: 1st cheek: 1 meter + 1/2 an arm 2nd cheek: 2 meters +   1 arm length

Dimensions: 3 1/2 inches wide & 2 1/2 inches in height

Note: It is done in two separate cheeks and connected on the sides and bottom along with the handle. It is 6 rows high.

So from here on we're gonna use symbols to simplify the instructions. Kindly refer to the following listed conversions to make the project:

Conversions:
R= Right String
L= Left String
S= Salikop
RB= Red beads
PB= Pink beads
WB= White beads
BB= Black beads
OB= Orange beads

1st Row
a. Put 2 RB on the L & 3 PB on the R then Salikop or S with a RB
("Salikop" is a tagalog term I frequently use for the project which means you need to insert your R going to the left and your L going to the right in just one bead aligning both ends of the string then sliding that one bead going to the rest of the beads, making sure both ends are of equal length completing the needed cluster)
b. Put 2 RBs in the L, & 2 RBs on the R, then S with a RB
c. Next Put 2 WBs on the L & 2 PBs on the R then S with a WB (Repeat these 3x)
d. For the last cluster of the 1st row Put 3 PBs on the R then S with a WB
(We will end up with 7 clusters for the 1st row)

2nd Row
a. To start the 2nd row hold the item so that the string are turned upwards. Work from the right going to the left. Put first 2 PBs on the R followed by a WB and then S with a WB.
b. Take your L insert it into 2 adjacent WBs, Put 2 WBs on the R & S with a WB. (Do these 4 more times)
c. For the 7th cluster of the 2nd row insert first the L to 2 adjacent RBs. Put 2 WBs on the R then S with a RB (this is a part od the bow)
d. To close the 2nd row insert L to 1 RB and then turn your work. Put 2 RBs on the R then S with a RB completing the bow part.

3rd Row
a. We'll start the third row with a cluster of 7. To do this insert first the L to 1  adjacent WB. Put 2 PBs on your R followed by 2 WBs then S with a WB
b. The next 5 clusters are all clusters of 6. So to continue on insert first your L thru 2 adjacent WBs. Put 2 WBs on the R & S with a WB ( Repeat these 4 more times)
c. The last cluster is also a cluster of 7. So insert first L thru 2 adjacent beads & turn your work. Put 2 PBs on the R & 1 WB on the L then S with a WB.
( Total of 7 clusters)

4th Row:
a. We'll start the 4th row with a cluster of 5. So put 2 PBs on the R followed by 1 WB & S with a WB
b. Then insert L to 2 adjacent beads. Put 2 WBs on the R & S with a BB (This is the  1st eye)
c. Next insert L thru 2 adjacent beads. Put 2 WBs on the R & S with 1 WB (Repeat these 2 more times)
d. Next, insert L to 2  adjacent beads. Put 2 WBs on the R then S with a BB (This is the 2nd eye). Make another cluster of 6 by putting 2 WBs on the R & S with  a WB
e. For the last cluster of row 4 insert first L to 1 adjacent WB & turn your work. Put 2 PBs on the R & S with 1 WB
(Total # of clusters = 8)

5th Row:
a. We'll start with a cluster of 6 for row 5. So insert first left string thru 1 adjacent bead. Put 2 PBs on the R followed by a WB & S with a WB.
b. Next, insert L thru 2 adjacent beads & Put 2 WBs on the R & S with a WB (Repeat one more time)
c. Next, insert L thru 2 adjacent beads. Put 2 OB on the R & S with a WB (This is the nose part)
d. Insert L thru 2 adjacent beads. Put 2 WBs on the R & S with WB (Repeat 1 more time)
e. Next, insert L thru 2 adjacent beads. Turn your work. Put 2 PBs on the R & S with 1 WB
(Total # of clusters = 7)

6th Row
a. We'll start the last row with a cluster of 5. Insert L to 1 adjacent bead. Put 2 PBs on the R & S with a WB
b. Next, insert L to 2 adjcent beads. Put 2 PBs on the R & S with 1 WB (Repeat 3x)
c. To finish the last row insert L to 2 adjacent WBs & S with 2PBs
(Total # of clusters = 6)

Fasten off by inserting 1st string into the made item for about 2-3 inches. Do this to the other end and cut string

Make a second cheek starting with the non-bow side using a string length of 2 meters and an arm long.

So start like this for the 1st row:
a. Put 2 WBs on L & 3 PBs on the R & S with a WB. Align both ends making sure they are of equal length. Put 2 WBs on L & 2 PBs on the R & S with a WB (Repeat 2x)
b. Put 2 RBs on L & 2 RBs on R & S with a RB (this is the bow part)
c. For the last cluster Put 3 PBs on R, 1 RB on the L & S with a RB

Row 2 for 2nd cheek:
a. Put 3 RBs on R & S with RB (This is a part of the bow)
b. Insert L thru 2 adjacent bead. Put 2 WBs on the R & S with WB (Repeat 5x)
c. For last cluster of row 2 insert to 1 adjacent bead first and turn your work. Put 2 PBs on R & S with WB.

Then repeat instructions of row 3-6 from the first cheek.

Here's showing the # of clusters on the sides of the wallet and where to put the L and R string for the connection:

Connection of cheeks + Handle:
a. With left over string we can connect both cheeks but first insert L & R within the cheek part so that it will come out on the side part in between the 1st & 2nd row. Align both cheeks together. Make sure the bows are aligned. Then put 1 PB on the L & insert it to the 1st cheek (in between the 1st & 2nd row) and then salikop with 1 PB. Note: Make this part sturdy by taking 1 of the string and run it backwards to the made cluster in between the two cheeks.
b. Now it's just the matter of connecting both cheeks on the sides and bottom part. So, insert L to 2 adjacent beads from the 1st cheek and the R thru the 2 adjacent beads from the 2nd cheek then S with a PB. Do these to the rest of the following clusters until you reach the other end.
c. For the handle part you need to salikop on all 10 PBs. Then fasten off by inserting the first string to a series of beads inside the made wallet for about 2-3 inches and then cut it. Do this to the other end and you're done. All we need to do now is to sew a zipper to the wallet.

That's the end of this project. I hope you enjoy making them and Happy Beading everyone!

New written patterns

Hi guys just a heads up. I've been writing instructions for beaded wallets i have made tutorials for on Youtube in the past I am quite apprehensive about it because am not so confident about how I explain stuff. But eventhough it's challenging I am enjoying it in a way. This may also mean that I can refer to my blog people who ask about patterns for the wallets easily. In a way I can also say that i'm fulfilling the task of making the tutorials i've been meaning to make but wasn't able to. So for you guys Happy beading!

Written Pattern for Cluster of 4 Wallet w/Long Beads

Hi guys! Someone has requested for some written patterns for the beaded wallets so i'm gonna try to make one and put on my blog. So today i'm making a written pattern for the latest one which is a beaded cluster of 4 wallet with long beads incorporated to it.

Materials Needed: Acrylic Rough or Chalk beads 6mm(colors of your choice), Nylon Monoline String 050mm, Scissors, Zipper

Beaded Cluster of 4 Wallet w/Long beads

Dimension: Approximately 4 and half inches width and 3 inches height Bottom Foundation Clusters has a cluster of 4 dimension of 12 x 2. This wallet also have 8 rounds up after the foundation clusters at the bottom. We are gonna be working on batches of string starting with a 2 meter length

(1)To start of, hold your string where one end is on your left and the other end is on your right hand. Put 3 beads on the right and "salikop".Term in tagalog used is "salikop" or interweaving left and right string thru one bead, align both ends and sliding that bead to go to the rest of the beads making sure both ends are of equal length forming a cluster of 4.

 (2)Make 10 more clusters of 4 by putting one bead on the right and one on the left and then salikop with one bead. Do this 9 more times for a total of 11 clusters of 4 on your string. For the last one put 2 beads on the right string and salikop with one making your string coming out sideways.

 (3)For the second row of the foundation cluster put first 2 beads on the right then salikop with one bead. Next take your left string and then insert it to the adjacent left bead so now it is coming out sideways while the right string is sticking up. They need to be in between two beads to continue working on clusters of 4.

 (4)For the next rows across first put 1 bead on the right then salikop. To form the next insert first the left string to the adjacent left bead. Put 1 bead on the right then salikop. Do these 8 more times for a total of 11 clusters of 4. For the last cluster insert left string to adjacent left string. Put one bead on the right then salikop.

 (5)Now we can start the 1st round of the wallet. Put two beads on the right then salikop. Next insert left string to adjacent left bead. Put 1 bead on the right then salikop. Now we are on the 1st edge of the first round. Insert left string on the left adjacent bead making the left and right string come out in a level way. Insert 1 bead on the right and salikop with 1 bead. Here the edge will start to form.

 (6)For the clusters across insert first the left string to the left adjacent bead put 1 bead on the right then salikop with 1 bead. Repeat these 10 more times till you reach the other end for the front of the first round.

(7)For the 2nd edge insert left string to the left adjacent bead so now the string is leveled again. Put 1 bead on the right then salikop and this will once again curve the side. Put 1 bead on the right then salikop. Next form the 3rd edge by inserting the left string to the adjacent left bead. It's leveled again. So put 1 bead on the left then salikop.

(8)For the back of the first round we need to make clusters of 4 across by inserting the left string to the left bead. Put 1 bead on the right then salikop. Do this 9 more times until we reach the end of the first round. So to close just insert the left string through the adjacent left string and also to the next one to it going up then salikop. This closes the first round.

(9)So now it's just a matter of filling up all the round up which totals to a number of 8 rounds. Incorporating the long beads to the 2nd and 7th round.

(10)Okay now to start with the 2nd round. Start it by putting 1 long bead followed by a regular bead on the right then salikop with a long bead. Work on the next by inserting first the left string on the left adjacent bead. Put 1 round bead on the right then salikop with a long bead. Repeat this around for 24 times then close the 2nd round by inserting the left string thru the left adjacent bead and the next one which is a long bead going up and then salikop with a regular bead.

(11)The 3rd to 6th round is done this way: To start put 2 beads on the right then salikop. Next insert left string thru left adjacent string then put 1 bead on right the then salikop. Repeat this around till you reach the last cluster. To close just insert left string thru 2 adjacent beads then salikop. Do this up to round 6 then just do what you did for 2nd round for the long beads part and then put another regular round using regular beads for the last and 8th round.

 (12)Fasten of by taking the first string and inserting it to a series of beads inside the formed wallet up to about 3 inches and do this also with the other end of string. Now all you need to do is sew in the zipper and our project is complete. Happy beading everyone!!!

How to Bead Letters Tips and Tricks

September 8, 2019 Sunday
Tips and Tricks on working on Beaded Letters

1. Use beads that have wider or bigger holes in them to pass through the string easily. We are gonna pass through certain beads several times so it will be much more convenient for us to choose such beads.

2. Watch out for my suggested string lengths and use them so as not to waste the string.

3. Cut the string slanted if ever it gets crooked and try again passing it through the holes.

4. The left and right string should somehow be of equal length but as we work our project one might be longer than the other one and it's ok.

5. Pick holes with a pin just to unclog it if ever it gets difficult to insert them and then try again.

6. Work on first columns for certain letters before working on the other parts of the letter.

7. Take note that a regular cube requires putting 2 clusters of 4 first while a slanted cute required putting 3 clusters of 4 first.

8. Tighten as you go

9. Pass through left string through a series of beads for about 2-3 inches before cutting them so that it will not be taken off easily and to make the item sturdy.

10. Avoid inserting left string through consecutive beads so it won't be visible.

11. Use a jump ring to connect the keyring to the beaded letter.

12. Have patience in untangling beads once they get jumbled. If ever you can just take them out and start again.

Happy Beading Everyone!
