How to Bead a Fan-Shaped Wallet
(Written Pattern)
Materials: Nylon Monoline String 050mm, Acrylic Rough Beads or Chalk Beads 6mm (Colors of your choice), a Pin, Zipper and Scissors
1st round: Start with a Cluster of 6
2nd: 6 Cluster of 6 around
3rd: 12 Clusters of 6 around
4th: 2 Clusters of 6 in between a Cluster of 5 (Total of 18 Clusters)
5th: 18 Clusters of 6 around
6th round: Start with a cluster of 7 then 8 Clusters of 6, then a Cluster of 7 and finish with 8 Clusters of 6 (Total of 18 Clusters)
7th round: Start with a cluster of 6 then a cluster of 5 on top of the cluster of 7 below. Then work on 9 clusters of 6. Next put a cluster of 5 on the tip of the cluster of 7 below. Work on 8 more clusters of 6 to close 7th round. (Total of 20 clusters)
8th round: Start with 1 Cluster of 6 then 2 Clusters of 7 next. Work 8 clusters of 6 after then 2 clusters of 7 again. Close 8th round with 7 clusters of 6 across. (Total of 20 Clusters)
9th round: Start with 2 clusters of 6. Then work on 3 clusters of 5. For the 1st insert left string thru 1 adjacent bead, for the second insert thru 2, then for the 3rd insert thru one only. Make 9 clusters of 6 next. Then make 3 clusters of 5 following the previous insertions. After this complete 9th round by making 7 more clusters of 6. (Total of 24 clusters)
10th round: Start with 3 clusters of 6. For the handle part insert left string thru 3 adjacent and form a cluster of 15. Insert lower string back thru the loop to secure it. After this work on 10 clusters of 6. Upon reaching the other side form another cluster of 15. Then complete the remaining parts of round 10 by making 7 clusters of 6 across. Insert both strings thru a series of beads for 3-4 inches and your done.
Just a matter of sewing the zipper
I will put a diagram here on the increases we made so you will have a visual for it.
